Hello
I set my alarm for 7am and woke up at 6:45am. I hate that! I have some sort of internal alarm clock where if I know I have to wake up at a certain time, I naturally wake up 5 – 15 minutes before. Good if I forget to set the alarm clock, bad if I want that extra 15 minutes of sleep. Does anyone else experience this?
Yesterday my eats were pretty mediocre. Breakfast was a fried Eggland’s Best egg with toast. The egg is always ready before the toast so I eat the egg whites while I’m waiting and then dip the toast in the yolk, and eventually make a sandwich. It’s a process!
Lunch was Quiznos again. I made an impulse purchase and asked for a cup of soup at the register and then totally didn’t want it. I never make impulse purchases and the rare times I do, I always regret them! I basically gave Quiznos 3 dollars because I had like 4 spoonfuls. I ordered tomato basil and it tasted like alla vodka sauce in a cup. Not horrible tasting but I just kept thinking about it as drinking pasta sauce. I also attempted to switch up my sub bread and got rosemary parmesan. Another bad choice, the artisan wheat is still my fav! This bread was too… rosemary-ied.
After Quiznos and errands Mark and I went back to his house and did something really exciting fell asleep. I woke up an hour and a half later, realizing I had to get my butt out the door for my scheduled run. I was meeting my Mom at 5 at the ponds. My training was walk 1 mile, run 4, and speed walk 1. I walked a mile, and then ran towards the ponds, stopping off in some weird little neighborhood full of cul-de-sacs to add mileage. I ran in like 5 little circles, and then continued on my way. I ended up having .25 miles to run when reaching my Mom and told her to walk ahead and I would turn around and catch up to her. I didn’t realize how fast she walks – I had to sprint an extra quarter of a mile to catch up!
I went home for dinner and a shower afterward. I stir fried my co-op collard greens in a drop of walnut oil and added in chickpeas, raisins, carrots, and walnuts at the end.
I ate dinner with my parents while watching House Hunters Berlin. I was surprised that there was so much graffiti there! Maybe they’re artsy in Berlin?
Today I’m going to Manhattan for an interview
Wish me luck!
Questions:
- Are you an impulse buyer?
- What’s your favorite way to eat eggs?

Good Luck on the interview!
Ha, I am the furthest thing from an impulse buyer and could talk myself out of anything! This definitely is good for saving money, but not for still wearing clothes from 10 years ago
I used to be an impulsive buyer before I got married. Now I’m much better at buying only what I need. Good luck on the interview!
Yes! Clock here too:) Doesn’t always work though, so I can’t trust it completely;)

Sometimes I hate the internal clock but other times it’s definitely saved me (when the alarm didn’t go off!)
I’m usually not an impulse buyer…except when it comes to food
I always wake up 10 minutes before my alarm too…and if I don’t setan alarm, am up by 5:30
Total impulse buyer here!
Favourite eggs- egg salad!
You know, I actually like waking up before my alarm. What I truly hate is waking up and feeling like you could use another 2329 hours of sleep.
Hope the interview went well!
I woke up 10 minutes before my alarm today too. I hate missing out on any sleep even if it is just a couple of minutes. Then my cat starts licking my face so it’s no use trying to get the last bit of snooze in. Good luck in your interview! And thanks for stopping by my blog! It’s nice as a newbie to see that somebody is actually reading it
I have the internal alarm clock thing going on too but I actually really like it. Most of the time it means that I don’t need to set an alarm.
I’m definitely an impulse buyer.. which has resulted in me spending waaaaaaay too much money on things I either don’t need or don’t use.
Good luck with the interview!!
Mmm You’ve got me craving Quiznos! I love their veggie sub.
I HATE waking up earlier than I set my alarm for. Sleep is precious to me.
