Good morning sunshines
This morning was special because I introduced my Dad to steel cut oats. He loved them! What’s the last food you introduced someone to? I love getting people to try new things.

I made sure to make a good topping mix for him:
- 1/4 cup steel cut oats
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 banana
- tbsp pecans
- tbsp dried dates
- tsp freshly ground flaxseed
- tbsp barney butter

I even let him use my coveted Barney butter, which is usually kept safely in my room with the rest of my nut butter stash. They can eat any of the other food I buy, but don’t mess with the nut butters! Do you have a food you refuse to share?
After breakfast I did 40 minutes on the stationary bike for a total calorie burn of 206.
I had dinner late last night so here’s the recap:


Salad with falafel, broccoli, peppers, cucumbers, spinach, and italian dressing.
The boyfriend’s Mom came home with this for me.

Anything she sees that says vegan or vegetarian she buys for me since she thinks I don’t eat anything. Last night she asked me if I eat bread!
It was my first experience with falafel (I seem to be saying that a lot lately – the new food challenge lives on!). It was good but a little dry. I wish I’d had some greek yogurt to slather on top.
