Food. Health. Fitness.

These three things have become my biggest passions over the past year. My entire life I’ve had a lot of random interests but never anything I was this passionate about. I love cooking new and healthy dishes. I love learning about what I can do to better my body. I love working out. I love how doing all these things makes all the difference in the world in how your body and mind feels.

I graduated from college in April 2009 and was terrified that once returning home, I’ll revert back to my unhealthier ways. I had been a blog reader for what seemed like forever and had fallen in love with so many of the great blogs out there that I decided to start one myself. Christina Butter (the title influenced by my obscene love for peanut butter) was created to help me document my quest to healthify my home life by eating good food and exercising while still enjoying life.

Other random things about me:

  • Favorite foods: peanut butter, popcorn, box mix brownies, bulgur, maple syrup, pumpkin ravioli, and oats.
  • I like being green.
  • I’m a pescatarian.
  • I love reading… anything.
  • I ran cross country in middle school and have just recently rediscovered my love of running. I’ve so far ran 2 5ks and a 10k. I’m current goal is to run a half marathon.
  • I love to travel! After every vacation I’m planning my next one.
  • I am the least decisive person on Earth. Someone really needs to buy me a pair of decision dice.
  • There is only one thing I’ll refuse to consume: soda. I’ve hated it forever. Carbonation hurts my throat.
